Serious XR launches a new innovative awareness training to learn how to correctly deal with the dangers of a lithium-ion fire and to be able to practice the necessary actions.

This training distinguishes itself by combining the expertise and experience of your BHV trainers with the benefits of Virtual Reality (VR). This innovative training consists of 3 parts.


In part 1, the trainee receives theoretical explanation from a BHV trainer about the dangers of lithium-ion battery fires. What makes these fires so dangerous? What makes battery fires different from, for example, electrical fires?


In part 2, the trainees will work on the practical aspect in Virtual Reality (VR). In VR, the trainee is confronted with a lithium-ion fire, without being exposed to the real dangers. In the fully interactive scenario, there are multiple ways to act, each with its own consequences.


The 3rd and final part is the evaluation. In this part, the BHV trainer discusses with the trainees how they have acted. This concluding evaluation is crucial for achieving the learning objectives of this training: awareness of the dangers of battery fires and the consequences of one's own actions.
